Is it the rhythm of the wheels on the motorway surface or the rapidly changing landscape that stimulates my mind so much when we take long road trips. The radio is on...sharply relaxed in the seat by the potter...watching out for fools on the road. They love roads do fools...learnt that by my father's side as he taught me to drive in my teenage years.
Beyond Silence
Something beautiful happened
On our way down the M6
England's main blood line.
A great flock of starlings
and a murmuration! While
Snow spat down on us and
The wind struck hard as iron.
Leaving us with only
A holy heavy silence.

Look...I caught some sunbeams.in the camera....!
Walking today in Tatton Park, Cheshire....
...snow melted... sun shining and lots of people getting out of doors...
... to lose their "cabin fever" of recent weeks.
...it's an upside down world in the melted snow...
...more sunbeams just caught as they tried to fly away...!
(a bit fanciful today folks.......)
...stopped off at The Kilton on the way home...
...for chips!!
...keep things in perspective please Gerry....

wow....snow at the PHP!!!
We only had to wait a day before the frost turned to snow.
...it's a damp kind of sticking type...just right for rolling and making snowmen...
...sadly no more children live at this address now....
...and I've forbidden the potter to stay out in it...
So I just bunged on the wellies myself, and went out into it...
... and took a few shots of the beauty before the whole lot turned to slush...
...or worse....
...ice overnight.
It's as if the whole garden is just waiting for the spring...
...the trees...the bushes...the tools ...the table and chairs...
...and
me!
