And there you have it...two besotted old adults...who really wanted a dog...and got two cats by mistake!
Now I can no longer manage a dog I wish I didn't live on a Main Road.

ReplyDelete"got two cats by mistake" Now that made me laugh out loud. What led to my cat? I said to my husband, "Why is it that when you want something, you simply go and get it. Yet you expect me to discuss every decision and if you disagree, it is not done? Him: (outraged) "That is not true! I have never..." and I said, "I want a dog." Long pause: "How about we get a cat?" Belatedly someone pointed out that if I had said I wanted a horse, I'd probably have gotten my dog.
