A Poem for Thursday.

There go the white birds

Lolling on the thermals.

Rising up as one from water

Leaving behind the flowing tide.

Lazily gliding, pattern making

Like leaves in the wind.

Flashing white against piercing blue.

Silver mercury in the sun

Moving on
Out of  sight.
