I have heard the puffins are struggling to rear their young this year due to the long hard winter and a lack of the little fish that they feed on.....
...however these two came out of the kiln a couple of days ago looking exceedingly well feed!!

Puffins are such exotic birds. I've been fascinated by them all my life!
ReplyDeleteI have only seen them once and that was up on the north coast of Ireland by a town called Portstewart and walking along the cliff path they were flying at the same level...stunning!!
