For quite a while now, galleries have been asking the potter to produce hares.
So they are just starting to arrive hot out of the kiln in the last few days..
Well hot is good... as we had a bit of a disaster just the week before christmas when a foreign substance...
...pheasant blood...!
dripped into the electronics and that was the end of that until the part was sent back to Germany...
...they of the" forsprung durch technik" infamy....
anyway, all better now..thankyou Germany!
I have been given the prototype..
and I love him!
Love him - he's sooo dark and mysterious just like a hare should be
ReplyDeletehmmm? does he take after his maker?!
DeleteI love him too!
ReplyDeletethankyou Dana there should be many more!
DeleteThis is a very young and ambitious hare, needs lots of love, and .... oh too late he's scampered off! Cheeky chap. Heavenly, hope there will be a large family.
ReplyDeleteIf rabbits are anything to go by...there should be more! Thankyou!
DeleteLooks fabulous, I love his eyes!
ReplyDeleteA bit like your own!
DeleteIt's strange that hares have become such popular creatures. Probably due to Mr Flanagan. I love to see them frolicking in the fields below us. Well done that potter!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your disaster. Good to hear it's all OK now, though. The hares are wonderful. Stunning.
ReplyDeleteWonderful hares!
ReplyDeleteHares are my favourite animal Gerry and I collect them - I have lots of hare cards, a hare bronze and a new hare picture this Christmas. Love those pottery ones. Will you be bringing them to Grange this summer? I am determined to come over and see your stall there.
ReplyDeleteWe will be there most months...and I should think that there will be hares!...It would be truly great to see you...don't you wonder what we all look like?!
Deletethankyou every one for your kind comments.
